HOPE Farm Inc.’s ministry and mission are to serve young fatherless men ages 5-18 through an after-school program where we introduce our participants to a life governed by belief in Christ and provide an opportunity to be mentored by adult Christian men.

Job summary:
You will be responsible for the planning and implementation of Fast ForWord Reading Literacy Program at HOPE Farm. The schedule will vary with the FWISD school calendar and HOPE Farm program activities but is primarily M-Th 3PM-6PM. As a staff member of Hope Farm, the Reading Lab Coordinator will contribute to positively producing a healthy working environment, to see God glorified! The person in this role is a devoted follower of Christ who recognizes that the embodiment of Luke 2:52 is the foundation for everything Hope Farm: Wisdom, Stature, Discipleship, & Friendship.

Primary Responsibilities: Planning and tracking the reading progress of each student enrolled at HOPE Farm

Secondary Responsibilities:
Performs other related duties.
Support Program Mentor duties for LDP

Required Skills:
A disciple-making disciple prepared to support our young men towards Christ-centered men of integrity; while continuing to grow spiritually, professionally, and relational as a disciple yourself
Comply with HOPE Farm Inc.’s policies, and consistently model HOPE Farm’s Core Values
Ability to maintain confidentiality, respect privacy and build trust; yet establish clear boundaries
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, computer skills, Office, etc.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Classroom experience in elementary or middle school a plus
Elementary classroom experience is highly preferred
Education Certification a plus
Bi-lingual is a plus
