Selection Process

The NCSA Awards are great opportunities to highlight some of the best educators in the world. Nominations are open each year for the following categories: 


  • Coach of the Year


  • Staff Member of the Year


  • Administrator of the Year


  • Principal of the Year


  • Teacher of the Year 


  • School of the Year

  • The nomination portal will be open April 1–15, 2026. (Winners from the past three years are not eligible to participate.)

  • Each category will be narrowed to a maximum of three finalists per category in every region.

  • Winners will be determined by an online vote.

  • Online voting will begin May 1 and close May 31, 2026. (Voters are limited to one vote per category.)

  • Winners will be announced in a public assembly at their school in September–October 2026
