Job Description: Cookson Hills is excited to announce an opening for a High School English Teacher. This is a rare opportunity to join our faculty; we have not had a teaching vacancy since 2023. Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate must be Kingdom-minded, possessing the desire and ability to seamlessly integrate Biblical truth into the English curriculum.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in English Secondary Education, English, or related subject matter from a four-year college or university.
Certification: Current ACSI teacher certification, or the ability to obtain it within two years of hire.
Faith: Must demonstrate active Christian faith and abide by the Cookson Hills Statement of Faith and Lifestyle Agreement.
Tech Savvy: Proficient in Google Apps (Docs, Sheets, Calendar) and eager to utilize Smartboards, GradeLink, and other educational technology.
