A note from the NCSA President

In Matthew 22:36-40, Jesus is asked, "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?"

"Jesus replied, 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

NCSA schools emphasize the student’s personal growth in their relationship with Jesus and that they would love God with their heart, soul and mind. When that happens, an environment is created where faculty, staff and students will grow “in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and men” (Luke 2:52). 
 
Christian Education allows for learning about the world and also nurtures a deep and lasting relationship with Jesus. 
 
Everything NCSA institutions do, from classrooms to athletics, from administrators to the board of directors, from fundraising to accreditation, must be empowered by the ethic of Jesus Christ with the fruit of the Spirit, listed in Galatians 5, being woven into their very fabric. The history of the NCSA shows a deep belief that a true Christian education can instill a spirit of discovery, innovation, and well-rounded thought that prepares students to be global citizen leaders in public, private and social sectors. With already established relationships and more to be made, the NCSA not only has the opportunity to influence learning on member campuses in the United States but also the opportunity to influence learning from Texas to Nicaragua, from Singapore to Zambia, and all points in between.
 
Together may we strive to live out the greatest command: to love God and love people!
