Job Description: Mars Hill Bible School is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Resource Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time faculty role is designed for an individual who is passionate about Christian education and committed to supporting students in their academic growth, spiritual development, and personal responsibility.

The Resource Teacher will work with students in grades 6–12, providing targeted academic support while collaborating with faculty, parents, and administration to ensure student success.

Qualifications:
Valid Alabama teaching certificate (or ability to obtain certification) strongly preferred
Demonstrated organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience working with diverse learning needs preferred
Faithful, active member of a Church of Christ

Primary Responsibilities
Provide academic support to middle and high school students (grades 6–12)
Collaborate with classroom teachers to implement effective instructional strategies
Maintain an organized, student-centered learning environment
Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with parents
Encourage student engagement, responsibility, and growth
Assist in developing plans that support individual student success

Arrive prepared and on time; fulfill all assigned responsibilities
Maintain clear communication with supervisors regarding attendance and duties
Prepare appropriate plans and materials in the event of absence
Dress professionally and represent the school with excellence
Steward school resources responsibly
Contribute positively to the school culture through collaboration and leadership
Build relationships with students and families grounded in trust and respect
Demonstrate empathy, patience, and flexibility in working with students
Create an environment that values each student’s dignity and growth
Engage students actively in the learning process
Communicate consistently with parents to support student development
Be willing to mentor and support fellow faculty members
